Welcome to the website for Indivisible MDI, home of the resistance on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Our members come from every town on the island, and we welcome people who are living here temporarily, or who are here on vacation. Keep your activism muscles in good shape – join us for an event!
Indivisible MDI invites you to join us at our monthly meetings and at all our actions. Whether you’re an area resident or from away, we invite you to join us.
Join us at the Bar Harbor Women’s March if you believe that Women’s Rights are Human Rights and Human Rights are Women’s Rights and that we must create a society in which women — including Black women, Native women, poor women, immigrant women, disabled women, Muslim women, lesbian, queer, and trans women — are free and able to care for and nurture their families, however they are formed, in safe and healthy environments free from structural impediments.
Our February meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 6:30 pm, at the YWCA MDI, Mount Desert St, Bar Harbor.

It is important for everyone to understand that the June 12 election will be using ranked choice voting for primaries AND will include a statewide ballot question about continuing Ranked Choice Voting in the future. Links to information presented at the meeting are below.
Additional information is available from Maine League of Women Voters.
Our April 6, 2018 Candidate Forum featured the four Democratic and two Independent candidates vying to unseat Bruce Poliquin. The entire forum can be seen on the YouTube links below.
